Quick actions
The safest workflow is: catalogue product → purchasing task → purchase/inbound → receive stock → quote → mark sent → response task → accepted order → proforma/invoice → payment → fulfilment.
Cloud + local cache: committed changes sync to your NEXUS cloud database and each device keeps a browser cache. Use Audit & Backup for portable dated backups as an extra safety layer.

Compliance & freight reminders
Risk flags do not automatically decide legal compliance. They are reminders to obtain and retain relevant evidence before importing/selling: SDS for inks/liquids, electrical compliance for regulated equipment, dangerous-goods checks for batteries/magnets, and biosecurity-safe packaging.

Backup
The JSON backup contains the complete NEXUS business database. Keep dated copies separately even though the active database is cloud-synced. NEXUS creates a weekly backup reminder automatically.
Data principles
NEXUS stores the master business state in the cloud database and maintains a browser cache for resilience. Cross-device saves use revision checks to prevent silent overwrites. It has no email system.

Cloud account & sync
NEXUS keeps the previous cloud save as an emergency one-step rollback. Restoring it swaps the current and previous cloud states, so it is reversible once.

Currency planning rates
Rates are planning tools. Purchase orders permanently store the actual FX rate you enter, so later rate changes do not rewrite historical landed cost. Online refresh is optional and the rest of NEXUS works offline.
About this build
No email sending, OAuth, Gmail, Outlook, webhooks or hidden external integrations are included. Client documents are downloaded as PDF files for you to send through whichever communication method you choose.
